Introductory Video for Tarot Theatre

The first introductory video focuses on answering fundamental questions surrounding the influence of Tarot on artistic work.
It also explores how practice, through the structure of the Major Arcana, can broaden our conscious engagement within artistic work. It raises questions concerning even the very term “Tarot Theatre,” in a practice where, seemingly, there is no theatre in the conventional sense.

Finally, it highlights the extent to which the highly distinctive aesthetic of the Tarot of Marseilles influences the overall aesthetic of a performance.
With a playful and creative spirit, the video initiated a series of works aiming to capture the journey into uncharted waters that Tarot Theatre continues to represent to this day.
